Plan ahead!

As the semester has just begun, this is probably the best time to start thinking about how you can improve your language and learning skills. If you wait till the last minute (i.e. the week before your essay is due to be handed in), you’ll end up feeling very stressed and won’t achieve very much. Although we can offer you one-to-one support and a range of other individual support options, the best way for you to make progress is to be proactive and make the most of the ongoing support that is available during the semester. At this early stage, you might like to think about joining a Peer Mentoring group, where you can benefit from help and advice from other students. You can choose from a range of subjects according to which faculty you are in. It might also be a good idea to check out our FAQs (Frequently-Asked Questions) as some of your questions might be quite general.Post a comment if you need any more info on this or if you have any comments.Good Luck!
